Athanassios Vozikis is Assistant Professor of Health Economics and Information Systems at the Department of Economics of the University of Piraeus. He holds a degree in Public Administration from the Panteion University, a M.Sc. in Health Informatics from National Kapodistrian University of Athens and a Ph.D. in Health Economics and Information Systems from the University of Piraeus.
He is Director of the Laboratory of Health Economics and Management of University of Piraeus, and has served as member of the National Council of Public Health and Chair of the Negotiation Committee of EOPYY. He is member of various scientific associations and organizations and member of the Editorial Board of several academic journals. He has participated in several research projects related to Business and Economic Re-engineering Processes in the Health Care.
