Dr Kgosi Letlape is currently the President of the Health Professions Council of South Africa and Chairperson of the Medical and Dental Board.
Dr Letlape obtained his MBChB degree in medicine from the University of KwaZulu Natal in 1981.
In 1988, he completed his FSC (OPHTH) degree in Ophthalmology at the College of Ophthalmology Medicine South Africa. In the same year he obtained his FRCS (OPHTH) degree in Ophthalmology at the University at Edinburgh.
